historic building charm, proximity to public transport, ability to store luggage post checkout

Creaky floors and doors made me feel uneasy!!! The heating issues made my room uncomfortably chilly upon arrival!!! Shared bathrooms could use better maintenance for cleanliness and availability!!! the dated decor left much to be desired!!!

perfect central spot for exploring attractions and parks

the staff were friendly and helpful, and being just around 500 meters from the Walker Art Gallery and a short walk to the Royal Liver Building made it perfect for my weekend strolls in the city.

The hotel benefits from a convenient location, just a short walk to the city center and easily accessible transport links to the train station. Our room was cleaned promptly each day, and we appreciated the fresh milk provided for our coffee and tea. The shower's deluge feature was a great addition, enhancing the overall comfort of our stay.

The narrow stairs and lack of a lift can be challenging for those with heavy luggage.

I had a clean room with good space to move around. The staff were friendly and check-in was quick. The location worked for me, within walking distance to shops. It felt good to be near all the main attractions. I overheard someone mention the warmth of the rooms, which matched my experience, as I found the environment to be comfortable during my stay.

The room’s lock had issues, which made me feel uneasy. I also noticed some parts of the room needed attention and care beyond quick fixes. Information regarding fire exits should have been provided upfront, which is critical.
